I loved these Chipotle Shrimp Tacos but I had one big issue…
Kidney Disease sucks so I’m finding recipes that DON’T.
Starting off simple here with a pasta salad recipe. I’ve gotten so bored with eating lettuce for lunch and need to add in more carbs for my particular nutritional needs so I’m giving this one a shot.
I apparently forgot I had a patio over the winter….
I mean, it was TRASHED. Pollen and wasp nests and leaves GALORE but we fixed it on up with the
It never fails- I put Phoebe the corgi in bed but at some point in the night, she needs to investigate something, to keep the family safe, of course, so she jumps off the bed and does her duty as body guard and then clicks her way back into my room bc wakes me up to put her back on the bed.
It’s been three months since I installed these tile stickers from Bleucoin. I was OBSESSED. You can see the install post here if you missed it.
After two weeks, the sticker in front of the toilet kept coming off because I live with little boys who can’t aim. Ahem, gross.
Arches are everywhere. In architecture, paintings, etc.. I’ve painted arches in several murals, and added them into several furniture builds and I always get asked how to draw the perfect arch so here we go….
When we bought our home in 2018, the open concept floor plan sported wall-to-wall tile. And not cute tile. Not to mention, the bedrooms and bathrooms had completely different flooring from the rest of the house.
I wanted to try something new for this bathroom floor but didn’t want the hassle of demo or painting the tile or (insert all the things here) so I decided to try out a tile decal.
It’s no secret that I am obsessed with rugs. Like gimme all the rugs. They add the perfect cozy factor, can separate a space, and compliment other decor.
A couple of months ago, I decided to put this gorgeous sleek pink fridge in my retro meets modern kitchen. But, because the fridge was snuggled right up against the wall, there was no way the door on that side would open all the way. So, I needed to make more room. I was rewarded with a glorious 6” of open space between the wall and the fridge. I decided to make use of that 6” by building a slide out storage cabinet for spices and smaller staple pantry items.
The transformation of this kitchen and dining area in the last four years is nothing short of mind blowing to me. It’s insane what you can do with a little paint and wallpaper. Of course, a new sleek pink fridge doesn’t hurt either. In this post, I’m showing what products I used, and rounded up all the links I can find for the exact or similar products.
I don’t know why, but this stainless steal dishwasher has GOT TO GO. Wait, yes I do. It’s because I hate stainless steal. Personal preference. I needed to make this eyesore blend in more and had plenty of my Behr Cabinet and Trim enamel left over from repainting my cabinets.

Ramen is one of my ultimate comfort foods so finding one that fits into my renal friendly lifestyle was a must. Nutrition content for this meal is pretty good- a little higher on the protein than I’d like but…
